29-31 August 2008, MEETING OF STYLES MONTRÉAL (Canada)
Montréal is the second-largest city in Canada with a population of 1,620,693 inhabitants in the city and up from 3,451,027 in the metropolitan area. Montréal’s metro is renowned for its architecture and public art. Under the direction of Drapeau, a competition among Canadian architects was held to decide the design of each station, ensuring that every station was built in a different style by a different architect
A Three days of graffiti, avant-garde and celebration, presented by Yves Laroche Galerie d’art with the Trains of Thought Exhibit.
The local organisation had done a lot to present participants to very special event with lots of attractions beside the live-painting. And they succeeded. www.mosmtl.com
Live-Graffiti, parties, Art-Shows. The Canadian MOS gave a detailed impression of whats going on over there.
No wonder, the event started early. The locals arranged some really big walls in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles and La Chine with animation on site and giveaways.
A club party with THE FRENCH CONNECTION - mashups, funk, hiphop, soul, 80’s closed the first day. Thank you to all the artists and everyone who made this possible. It was fun to be part of the Yves Laroche exhibit with my piece on the Mew York Subway Glicee. It was also a good feeling to throw up that piece in La Chine.
Peace to my New York City counterparts who were there with me. Chino BYI; DOC TC5; DIL; Sye TPA; Sen2; Seez and Wane COD. Looking forward to another city.
