Daylight Saving Time Redux

Every year millions of North Americans and Europeans scratch their heads to understand Daylight Saving Time. Even worse; the US of A has gone against the grain and set it’s own commencement date at Sunday, 2 AM; March 8th [the second Sunday in March]. Does this practice really help save energy? Is it time to retire Ben Franklin’s joke? I’ll let Bill Nye [The Science Guy] explain all of this.Why do we have daylight saving time?
