The Final Cameroon Vs. Egypt - Preview

By Rab Bakari • Feb 9th, 2008 • Category: African Cup of Nations GHANA 2008

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon face the The Pharoahs of Egypt in the 26th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations in Accra’s Ohene Djan Sports stadium at 17H:00 GMT on Sunday, february 1oth. Andre Bikey will miss the final after his unwarranted medic shove when he played against Ghana.  So … will each team review the video tapes of January 22nd? Can this young Egyptian squad sprint up and down in the Accra climate to score Cameroon by high goals? Let the best team lift the cup! If you remember; Egypt ran over Cameroon with precision in Kumasi  less than three weeks ago. Group C Match Egypt Vs. Cameroon *** Egypt prevails 4 - 2. Cameroon did not look good against Egypt. Defense broke down and hoped on Samuel Eto’o to score but always gave Idrissou the ball.  I visited the morning training of Indomitable Lions at the El-Wak Sports stadium which is not to far from the Kotoka Int’l airport in Accra. I noticed that Rigoberto Song was getting personal training due to his knockdown in the quarter final match against Ghana. The Cameroonian Entourage/security was unfriendly. They did not allow us to interveiw the football players or even record lengthy video of the training exercise. Otto Pfister was in his usual position coaching/training from the sidelines. Here are some pictures that were taken today by Ayodele Odumade.
