Welcome to Kumasi, Ashanti region!

I’m traveling with a fellow Cameroonian. We are excited to see the old Cameroonian squad take on the current cup holders; Egypt.I support Cameroon for the win in this one, but I’m a little apprehensive due to the fact that Egypt has a squad almost entirely of local Egyptian-based players who are well under 25 years of ageSamuel Eto’o is there along with his elders; Rigoberto Song; Njitap and Kameni. From all the flags and what people are wearing; Kumasi seems in full support of the Cameroonians. Check my video with my official 2007 commerative Number 9 Roger Milla jersey. Yeah! I get props with this jersey in Kumasi!
The Baba Yara stadium has changed for the better since I was in last in there in 2000 doing a rap show with Reggie Rockstone and others. The biggest visible difference is the use of glass partitions instead of wrought iron fence and spiraling barbed wire toppings.
Update: Egypt stuns Cameroon 4 - 2!
The indomitable Lions were dominated by the youthful Egyptian football team. Hassan Shehata sure knows how to work his boys. Looking at this..I know Egypt will now top group D with3 points for eacch match. Cameroon cannot run up and down like the Egyptians. The Cameroon striking was weak. Idrissou made many mistakes. He also did not work in tandem with Eto’o.Many expected thjis to be the Eto’o Fils Show’. So many superstars inj this competition. we are all hoping for some extra-ordinary footwork to be climaxed by a hard punt into the opponent’s net.
