Apple Inc, always sets the Tech industry on their toes every year in January. IDG World Expo holds it annual MacWorld Conferenece & Expo at the Moscone center in San Francisco, California USA. The 2008 Expo will run from January 14 - 18. These Expos (expositions) used to be a secret amongst the Apple Fan boys/girls. Even prominent ‘tech journalist’ back in the day ignored MacWorld. Which used to be held twice a year.  The New York City convention was always a hit in the late 90s and at the turn of the new century. But.. a move to Boston failed miserably and killed of the East Coast representation of MacWorld. For those that do not know; MacWorld is where the Tech industry and now consumer electronic goods (thanks iPhone!) find out how the tech industry will trend. Many people think this bar is set at CES. Nope! For some reason; Apple sets the standard bar when it comes to design and elegance. Also many ape to see Steve Jobs (CEO and mythological guru of Apple) deliver his famous Keynote Address. A sort of State of the Union now and what we will be pitch. It’s a beautiful pitch every year. We all get caught up in the Apple Halo effect.  To be fair; MacWorld is really about the Mac experience. This MWSF is geared to the every day consumers. I have attended many MacWorld Expos and workshops in New York City back in the day. It’s an experience that I never forget. The best part of this whole experience is trying to figure out what Apple Inc…well..Steve Jobs will drop on the masses. The rumor sites and traditional broadcast/print media fly with assertions that they have the ‘inside info’.  I would lay my predictions down but John Gruber;  the minamilist  blogger on Daring Fireball pretty much track my own ‘yes’ and ‘no’ revelations that will ’spill forth unto the world today!’ Please read his blog to get a pulse of what is expected and what is not expected. MAcWorld Expo Predictions
