La Côte D’Ivoire Vs. Nigeria. Two ECOWAS giants battle it out for bragging rights at this new stadium in Sekondi, Ghana.I must admit. I’m rooting for Ivory Coast to win this one. Many stars in this match! Especially fromthe English Premiere league.Let’s see! We have team mates from Chelsea such as Didier Drogba; Salomom Kalou & another English Premiere leaguer, Eboué on the Ivoirian side. Then we have Mikel Obi on the Nigerian side who reps Chelsea in the UK. The goals should be flying in this one! Update! The interior of the stadium is fascinating for West African standards! The green pitch looks picture-perfectfrom my V.I.P.seating. I also wandered around to see the halls and chambers of the stadium. apparently; there are hotel roomsencircling the hotel. The medical facilities and the data center are top notch. The press conference room is adequate also. Now to the game. La Côte D’Ivoire took this one. 1 - 0. Although only one goal was completed; both sides attempted to strike many times. Salomon Kalou gets the credit for the goal in the 66 minute.
