I decided to make this my first post. I would like to introduce myself . I am Rab Bakari. Connections to USA and Ghana. I am a Tech; Sci-Fi; Apple; Football (the game that really uses ‘the foot’); Graffiti; Music and Food enthusiast! I am a child of the golden years of the Hip Hop generation with extensive hands on experience in all elements of Hip Hop in New York City. When I mean hands on..I really mean it! Dusty fingers from diggin’ in the crates! Numb index finger from continual use of spray paint cans! Lyrical skills and top-notch electronic production skills. Fashionable choice of clothes along the times and a fit body from dancing all those years! My first name is an Arabic derivative of an attribute of Allah. The root means master; teacher or one who brings forth knowledge. Get ready..cause here comes the pain..or pleasure of tons of knowledge.! Many people over many years have said over and over again that I seem to know many things. Well.. I will put that to the test by ‘Blogging’ on these subjects. I feel comfortable enough to touch on.I intend my site to be open to the World Wide Web Community. I expect people to challenge me on my so-called’ knowledge. I am not posting for any praise. Basically; I’m just sharing. If I open a couple of senses to some things; then my smile will grow a few nanometers! :`). This site will be kilotons of fun! I will specifically blog on these topics which may seem broad. Africa; Tech; Food; Music; DJaying; Sci-Fi; Politics & Culture and Graffiti. To give you a sense of what you are about to be immersed in; it must be noted that these subjects largely define..ME. Sci-Fi can be a review about the latest film; DVD or book out. Or it can be about past Sci-Fi TV shows. Tech can be the latest gadget tip; hack; trick; installation or review. DJaying can be interviews with the greats. Bios about the late-greats or club/lounge/party happenings. Politics and Culture could be a link to a political blog in Brasíl or the dying art of Double Dutch Jump rope in African-American communities. Graffiti is about the aerosol and ink art which forms a strong pillar of Hip Hop. Africa will initially be about the African Cup of Nations football championship in Ghana this year. Food will be about my recipes or reviews of hot ethnic restaurants around the world! Music will be about performing/recording artist interviews; reviews and production techniques.
